Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 20 hours per week during duration of internship.
- Must be willing to work in San Jose, CA.
- Experience working with a campus TV station, newspaper, or website.

Nice to have
- Academic background in Broadcast Journalism, Journalism, English, Communications, Media Studies, Political Science, or other related fields preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- For Local Integrated Media: Proficiency in AP Style
- Experience writing and reporting for school newspapers/websites
- Above-average news judgment and what qualifies as a quality news story
- Experience posting for a university publication's branded social accounts and a working knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Ability to multitask
- Bilingual in written English and Spanish a plus
