Coordinating daily work activity and receiving maintenance tasks from the Maintenance Team Lead.

The Opportunity
The Maintenance Technician will focus on supporting the day-to-day operations of Fogo Island Inn's facility systems, including water treatment, boilers, refrigeration and air conditioning, and other critical building infrastructure.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance team, the Maintenance Team Lead, and contractors, coordinating daily work activity while fostering a culture of continuous learning and mentorship for junior staff.
The role requires someone comfortable troubleshooting building management software, enforcing safety procedures, and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Fogo Island Inn's facility systems including but not limited to water treatment, boilers, refrigeration and air conditioning, humidifiers, hot tubs, HRVs, hydronic solar system, laundry, and kitchen equipment.
Ensuring the Inn's preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Ensuring spare parts inventory is ample and up to date.
Fostering a strong ethic of good housekeeping, providing a clean working environment amongst the Fogo Island Inn Maintenance team and contractors.
