About the role
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Labour Studies, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Human Resources Management - Graduate Certificate is preferred. CHRP designation or Masters in a related field (e.g. MBA or MIR) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related Human Resources generalist function. Experience working in a unionized
- environment, providing labour relations support is preferred. Although previous experience in a mining or an industrial setting is considered an asset, we also appreciate that diversity of thought comes from our differences. Strong knowledge of applicable employment law, collective agreements and HR best practices. Ability to leverage strong interpersonal
