About the role
- Fabricates wooden crates or boxes, using woodworking hand tools and powered tools, and packs such items as machinery,, or other large or odd-shaped products.
- Lays out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape, and pencil.
- Saws materials to size, using handsaws and powered saws.
Requirements
- Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to operate a Computer, telephone and other office equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Experience with electrical saws (Panel saw, Jigsaw, & Miter saw)
- Experience with Pneumatic nail and staple guns
- Fork lift experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Able to lift over 50 LBS
- Good teamwork
- Framing experience can be applied
- Skilled carpenters/ Cabinet makers
- Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
