Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems
- Serves as the subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)
- Serve s as the IT/Telecom Site Lead for assigned power generation facilities, owning field execution, coordination, issue escalation, and on-call support to ensure reliable operations and critical infrastructure uptime
- Conduct s routine site walks and system assessments; proactively identif ies risk and implement s preventative and corrective actions to maintain system availability
- Evaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycle
- Maintain s accurate field documentation and asset trackin g while ensur ing compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Meet field requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capability to safely work at heights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
