Responsibilities
- Conduct and support finance function diagnostics: assessing an organization's people, process and technology to come up with recommendations and a value-creation roadmap
- Design and support process enhancements across the any of the following process areas: lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report and FP&A
- Design future state operating platforms (organization structure, finance processes, technology stack)
- Support execution of plans to optimize technology, drive process automation (within ERPs or leveraging bespoke technologies and AI)
- Support Transformation Directors in driving transformation program governance over multi-workstream engagements
- Support the coordination of change management across multiple functions and workstreams
- Determine and measure the ROI of improvement initiatives, identifying risks to delivery and working with client and internal teams to develop mitigation strategies
- Manage transformation workstreams at a single client - under the guidance of Accordion Managing Directors, Senior Directors and/or Directors
- Manage junior resources (Associates, or Analysts)
- Interact and build relationships with all levels of client stakeholders at portfolio companies as well as representatives from Private Equity sponsors
Requirements
- Bring financial expertise and leading practices to engagements
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proven experience successfully leading workstreams, managing not only client dynamics but internal team dynamics as well
- A strong and up-to date knowledge of finance best practices specifically related to the professionalization of the finance function
- Generalist across, or subject matter expert in, financial business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, FP&A, as well as other functions under the CFO purview
- Experience enabling financial processes with finance automation and technology deployment
- Experience performing financial function assessments
- Experience supporting strategic finance transformations
- Experience working in a private equity environment, with an understanding of the unique requirements of the private equity consulting environment
Compensation
- $144,500 to $200,000 USD + benefits + bonus.
- Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
