About the role
- The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to manufacture and repair precision components used in food processing and packaging equipment.
- Hours: First shift 6:30am-3pm with OT available (every other Saturday 6am-12pm)
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision parts
Responsibilities
- Program and edit CNC code (G-code) as needed to optimize performance and accuracy
- Machine components used in food processing equipment, ensuring compliance with sanitary design standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with food safety and GMP standards
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support equipment reliability
- Document production activities, measurements, and quality checks
