About the role

  • The Event Setup Assistant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down event spaces while ensuring equipment is properly handled, stored, and inventoried.
  • This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited setup time.
  • Set up tables, chairs, staging, risers, and other event equipment according to room diagrams and event specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Properly move, handle, store, and maintain event equipment and furniture.
  • Keep storage areas organized to maintain accurate equipment inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness of event spaces, hallways, and common areas.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry event equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

  • The hourly rate for this position is $15.00/hour.
