About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced manager to join the Verkada Core Platform team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects impacting our Command product- it will include both frontend and backend engineers in your team
  • Inspire your team to create highly polished and delightful user experiences
  • Collaborate with other engineering leaders to define, communicate, and execute on goals, priorities and process
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience managing, leading, and inspiring a team of engineers
  • 8+ years of work experience in a software engineering roles
  • Experience with both backend and frontend
  • Experience working in an agile team software development environment
  • Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system
  • Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
  • including hiring, retaining, and managing performance.

Compensation

  • Annual Pay Range
