Responsibilities
- Software Development & Design
- Design, develop, and customize platform modules, core functionality, and business logic
- Translate product and business requirements into well‑designed technical solutions
- Create clear technical documentation, diagrams, and code comments
- Partner with product, engineering, and distributed delivery teams to share best practices
- Assist delivery teams with design, code, usability, and technical challenges
- Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Quality, Scale & Support
- Support production environments, including high‑severity issue resolution and performance optimization
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design, build, and support scalable software solutions that power Slide's insurance platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of experience building modern front-end applications using React and developing mobile applications using React Native required
- Experience with web frameworks, microservices, multi‑tenant applications, and modern cloud architectures
- Familiarity with SaaS deployment models, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs across distributed systems
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and think critically
