About the role

Conveying, loading, palletising, packing, sortation and distribution - BEUMER Group is a leader within the development and manufacture of high-technological intralogistics systems for global markets.
The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) within airport baggage handling operations.
The Shift Supervisor ensures that established procedures are followed, updates procedures and manuals as needed, and recommends corrective actions-driving them to resolution when necessary.

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maintain system effectiveness and asset reliability.
Respond to major stoppages requiring equipment expertise; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Lead maintenance troubleshooting during breakdowns and operational disruptions.
Manage spare parts usage and inventory, including consumption tracking, reorder requests, and storage organization to support operational continuity.
Provide technical clarification and detailed support to team members and customer stakeholders when needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager to support site operations.
Support employee scheduling by assisting with

Develop staff competency by delivering regular training, coaching, and technical mentoring to maintain required technician skill levels.
Monitor, diagnose, and support system servers (e.g., MICS and CSC) as required.

$35.00-$38.31 hourly
The posted range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience with Supervision of large teams focused around automated material handling systems, preferably within airport or logistics environments.
Understanding of automated systems; proficiency in MS Office, CMMS platforms, and payroll Software.
