Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting activities, including posting positions, reviewing applicants, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and communicating with candidates.
  • Maintain accurate employee information and process HR-related changes within Workday and ADP.
  • Support timekeeping, attendance, payroll, employee records, and HR reporting activities.
  • Partner with staffing agencies and hiring managers regarding temporary and direct-hire staffing needs.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, training, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential employee and business information.

Requirements

  • Experience managing recruiting, hiring, orientation, and onboarding processes.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Three or more years of progressive human resources generalist experience.
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters independently.
  • Experience using Workday and ADP is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and make sound decisions.

Nice to have

  • Human resources experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar professional certification.
  • Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary workforces.
  • Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • The employee must be comfortable working in an operational or manufacturing environment and following all required safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
  • Serve as an accessible HR resource for employees, supervisors, and managers.

Compensation

  • Approximately $28-$32 per hour, depending on experience
