About the role
- In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and verifying Surface Mount Technology (SMT) feeder tables, ensuring all materials, components, and documentation are accurate and production-ready.
- You'll play a critical role in enabling high-quality, efficient manufacturing of Adtran products by supporting production readiness, maintaining accuracy and traceability, and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Scan, validate, and confirm component reels, ensuring part numbers, quantities, and revisions match bills of material (BOMs)
- Record material movement and maintain accurate data in production systems (e.g., AEGIS)
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and workflow
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, quality-driven environment
- Familiarity with component identification, BOM verification, and manufacturing documentation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of SMT processes and electronic assembly practices
- Ability to accurately handle and verify small electronic components
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- ERP experience (e.g., BaaN) a plus
- Experience with quality standards such as IPC-A-610 preferred
