About the role

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with fiber-optic cabling and equipment and be proficient in using diagnostic tools.
  • This role requires an ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures, read and understand schematics, and configure and troubleshoot tolling systems under moderate supervision.
  • The Field Services Technician I needs to have a technical background, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, keep track of maintenance team resources, and ensure systems remain fully operational.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend and utilize maintenance documents
  • Have/obtain/maintain certifications & licenses as need is identified (e.g. electrical, mechanical, electronics, network, software)
  • Work a rotating on-call schedule to ensure after-hours support

Requirements

  • Support Neology Maintenance on-call 800 number when required
  • Some domestic travel may be required
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Compensation

  • We offer a base pay of $53,000 - $58,000, plus overtime, incentive compensation and benefits.
  • Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies.
