Responsibilities

  • The Staff Assistant provides administrative support to insure smooth operations of the school.
  • He/she provides administrative and secretarial support, serves as a resource to families, assists with entering and maintaining data for applications, admissions and observations at the school.
  • This individual supports administrators with daily operation of the office, and troubleshoots problems

  • Support the director and admin team in maintaining supplies data base and ordering of materials for school

  • Design flyers for school activities
  • Maintain files and assure school forms are updated and available at all times
  • Application/Admissions Process Support

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
  • Four year college degree with 2-3 years' experience
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team with flexibility and adaptability

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree and more than three years of related experience
  • Ability to work in a university and school setting under the direction of the Director
  • Knowledge and experience with school environments and diverse environments
  • Minimum $23.00, Midpoint $27.35, Maximum $31.70
  • generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
