- The Eliot-Pearson children's school is the laboratory-demonstration school affiliated with the Eliot-Pearson department of child study and human development at Tufts University.

Responsibilities
- The Staff Assistant provides administrative support to insure smooth operations of the school.
- He/she provides administrative and secretarial support, serves as a resource to families, assists with entering and maintaining data for applications, admissions and observations at the school.
- This individual supports administrators with daily operation of the office, and troubleshoots problems
- Administrative/Secretarial support
- Support front desk/work study students in providing office-reception
- Support the director and admin team in maintaining supplies data base and ordering of materials for school
- School Data and Information Management Support
- Design flyers for school activities
- Maintain files and assure school forms are updated and available at all times
- Application/Admissions Process Support
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
- Four year college degree with 2-3 years' experience
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team with flexibility and adaptability
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree and more than three years of related experience
- Ability to work in a university and school setting under the direction of the Director
- Knowledge and experience with school environments and diverse environments
- Minimum $23.00, Midpoint $27.35, Maximum $31.70
