- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of designing and delivering new products
- 3+ years of experience in Portfolio Accounting, Reconciliation, Market Data, or FinTech application development
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with high-availability systems, production on-call practices, and performance monitoring
- Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term architectural thinking
- Willingness to learn and explore cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in complex business domains
- Do you have a passion for finance and investing?
- You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java or Kotlin
- Understanding of AWS services and infrastructure
- Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience with caching strategies and data modeling
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-team technical initiatives
- Ability to amplify the ideas and contributions of others
- A responsibility-driven mindset that extends beyond writing code
Skills
- Represent the team's systems in cross-functional technical discussions and contribute to Ridgeline's Architecture Advice Process
- Coach and mentor engineers responsible for delivering secure, high-performing enterprise applications
- Participate in engineering hiring and talent-building initiatives
- Contribute to a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and transparent collaboration
