About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate for the Associate, Project Valuation & Analytics position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update financial models for utility-scale renewable energy project portfolio.
  • Support valuation analysis including IRR, NPV, and cash flow projections.
  • Support evaluation of PPA pricing, merchant exposure, and capacity revenues.
  • Support due diligence processes for project financing and acquisitions.
  • Maintain project valuation databases and analytical tools.
  • Support improvements to financial modeling templates and analytics workflows.
  • Associates of Project Valuation and Analytics at Avantus support financial modeling, valuation, and analytical work across the company's utility-scale renewable energy project portfolio.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 2 -5 years of experience in renewable energy, project finance, energy consulting, or investment banking
  • Exposure to financial modeling and infrastructure or energy project economics
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
