About the role

  • We are currently seeking a construction/field engineer to join our TYLin's PMCM team for an upcoming electrical project
  • Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Verify construction documents to field conditions.
  • Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for approaches, concepts, materials and equipment selection.
  • Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.
  • Assure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths, follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of construction (office) engineer experience is required.
  • Requires knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple contractors and trades at one time in the field.
  • Knowledge of meeting construction schedules and budgets.

  • TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $110,300 annually for this position and local market. Nice to have

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred with an electrical background.
  • EIT Certification preferred.
  • Previous infrastructure construction experience with a city agency such as MNR is a plus

  • As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $110,300 annually for this position and local market.
