About the role
- We are currently seeking a construction/field engineer to join our TYLin's PMCM team for an upcoming electrical project
- Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Verify construction documents to field conditions.
- Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for approaches, concepts, materials and equipment selection.
- Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.
- Assure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths, follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures.

Requirements
- 1+ years of construction (office) engineer experience is required.
- Requires knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating with multiple contractors and trades at one time in the field.
- Knowledge of meeting construction schedules and budgets.

- TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $110,300 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer. Nice to have
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred with an electrical background.
- EIT Certification preferred.
- Previous infrastructure construction experience with a city agency such as MNR is a plus
