About the role
- This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.
- In this role you will be the technical authority for designing, implementing, and optimizing physical, virtual, and cloud-based data center infrastructures.
- You will bridge the gap between facility engineering and IT operations by ensuring our mission-critical data centers are highly resilient, strictly compliant with safety standards, and fully accredited to operate securely.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and update physical, virtual, and cloud-based data center lifecycle configurations for optimal redundancy, resiliency, availability, and efficiencies
- Review other Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools quarterly to verify that the Government's solution provides the best capabilities to manage and monitor the data centers
- Coordinate with stakeholder mechanical, civil, network, and security engineers for collaborative designs, reviews, and implementations
- Collaborate with Operations teams on integration of data center monitoring tools to meet SLAs and ITSM customer service objectives
- Provide engineering support for all data center implementations
- Provide support of engineering services from engineering to operations transition
Requirements
- Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start
- HS and 16+ years of experience, an AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience designing, integrating, validating, and implementing physical and virtual data center solutions
- Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
- Practical experience with data center operations, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
- What You Can Expect:
- DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
- Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
Compensation
- There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

- The proposed salary range for this position is:
- $103,800 - $218,100
