  • Automation & Controls Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley / Siemens) to ensure efficient machine operation.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including short circuits, grounding issues, and component failures, minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics on control circuits, sensors, and communication networks
  • implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain and back up PLC programs and related documentation
  • Independently perform advanced electrical wiring and troubleshooting for 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V systems, ensuring compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Execute PMs and rebuilds on motors, drives, and servo systems, maintaining alignment, calibration, and motor performance.
  • Perform robot PMs including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration
  • Perform diagnostics on control circuits, sensors, and communication networks; implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain and back up PLC programs and related documentation; assist in control upgrades and integration of new equipment.
  • Perform robot PMs including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration; ensure motion paths and tool offsets meet production accuracy requirements.
  • Calibrate temperature, pressure, and motion profiles to maintain process control and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or automation support, preferably within automotive manufacturing.
  • PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Keyence)
  • Robotics Programming & Calibration (Fanuc, Moto man, Universal)
  • Electrical & Control Wiring (24V-480V)
  • Servo & VFD Drive Configuration
  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
  • Vision Systems (Keyence, Cognex preferred)
  • Reading Electrical Schematics, Diagrams & Prints
