- Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Department of Public Safety at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore invites applicants to apply for contractual temporary positions.
- Secures and monitors entrances and exits to buildings and property.
- Patrols buildings and grounds and notifies appropriate personnel when problems and life safety threats arise.
Requirements
- May be required to perform physical work requiring bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, and frequent heavy lifting.
- May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
- May be required to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
- The successful candidate must be able to show acceptable documentation establishing the right to accept employment in the United States of America without employer sponsorship.
Skills
- Applicants must submit to and successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
- Valid Maryland Non-commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license may be required.
