You will help define how Cribl designs, secures, automates, and operates the internal systems that power the business every day.
You'll partner closely with IT Support, Security, Enterprise Applications, People, and business stakeholders to improve reliability, strengthen security, and scale employee experience.

As the Sr Staff Information Systems Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical owner and design authority for Cribl's core IT systems and workflows.
Own and evolve identity platforms and lifecycle workflows (joiner/mover/leaver, group access, contractor lifecycle, privileged access, and access reviews), with a focus on least privilege, auditability, and scale.
Design and maintain automations across the IT stack using ServiceNow, Okta Workflows, scripting, APIs, and webhooks to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
Partner with leadership on change management, audit readiness, and sustainable process design.

Deep hands-on experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, including SSO, lifecycle workflows, access policy design, and group-based access models.

Experience administering core business platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Glean, or similar enterprise SaaS tools.
Experience designing or operating automations with Okta Workflows, Serval, Zapier, or similar orchestration platforms.
Experience evaluating or supporting enterprise AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, Glean, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with MCP-based integrations, enterprise connectors, and practical guardrails for AI-assisted workflows.
Experience supporting ITGC, SOX/IT controls, access reviews, or other audit and compliance-related operational processes.
Experience with Jamf, Intune, Kolide, or similar endpoint and posture-management tooling.
Prior experience in a rapidly scaling, distributed company where strong systems thinking and clear ownership matter.
