- Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP and its subsidiary entities provide tax and business advisory services to their clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
- Participates with other service line leadership in developing tax service market positioning and branding, strategy, and messaging
- Support the growth and development of team members, helping associates meet their professional goals along with proactively supporting the recruitment efforts of future team members
Requirements
- Thirteen (13)+ years' experience in public accounting, with at least five (4+) years of supervisory experience counseling associates
- Ideal candidate will have worked with a variety of industries as a client base
- Must be local to Manhattan, and be willing and able to travel as needed to serve clients
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, CPA and/or JD required; Master's Degree or advanced certification in taxation is preferred
- Previous equity-holding role in a major public accounting firm
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality tax services, managing complex tax issues and leading and developing teams
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements and best practices for flow through entities and partnerships, as well as the tax implications of various business transactions, entity structuring and tax planning strategies. Ideal candidate will have worked with a variety of industries as a client base
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate revenue growth
- A proactive, innovative and solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, CPA and/or JD required
- Master's Degree or advanced certification in taxation is preferred
Compensation
- The compensation range for this role is $223,130 to $292,870.
