About the role
- The Senior Trust Tax Accountant is responsible for the preparation, review, and administration of federal, state, and local tax returns for our Corporate Trustee operations in Delaware.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong technical tax knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Salary Range: $77,390.00 - $127,139.75 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Trust Officers, Wealth Advisors, Investment Advisors, and other internal stakeholders to address tax-related issues and client inquiries.
- Assist with tax planning opportunities and support client discussions regarding trust and fiduciary tax implications.
- Support special projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 2 years of fiduciary, trust, estate, or public accounting tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state fiduciary income taxation.
- Ability to research, interpret, and apply tax laws and regulations to trust and estate accounts.
- Strong technology skills with the ability to learn and work within multiple tax, trust accounting, and reporting systems.
- Experience within a trust company, wealth management firm, family office, or public accounting environment serving high-net-worth clients.
Compensation
- $77,390.00 - $127,139.75
- Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
