Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of complex applications and platforms.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and code-review support.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and delivery managers.
- Support application modernization, cloud adoption, and platform enhancements.
- Our global consulting firm combines creativity and innovative technology to deliver industry-leading digital solutions.
- Through research and development initiatives in our FinLabs we develop solutions for modernization, from Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to Data Science models, Digital Underwriting, mobile-first applications and more.
- We are seeking a Technical Lead to provide technical direction and leadership across the design, development, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience leading technical delivery across multiple teams or complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience in capital markets or banking.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and containerization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, observability, resiliency, and secure software development.

Compensation
- With top clients to boast about, Synechron has a global workforce of 17,000+, and has 58 offices in 22 countries within key global markets.
- The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
- In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k - CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).
