About the role

As a Gas Distribution and Storage Engineering Manager based in Akron, OH, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our engineering services.
Working Conditions: - Office environment. - Occasional travel (10-15%).

Lead and develop an engineering team with clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations.
Drive engineering excellence through technical governance, risk-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and timely technical reviews.
Provide engineering expertise, mentorship, and reliable support for operations, capital projects, compliance programs, and strategic initiatives.
Monitor workload, resources, budgets, contracts, and performance metrics to deliver effective, efficient engineering services.
Actively participate in key industry committees and associations to lead change and ensure Enbridge's and broader industry goals are met.
Demonstrated expertise in team development, collaborator management, project and financial oversight, along with strong communication skills, influencing capabilities, and relationship-building across diverse audiences.

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university.
10+ years of directly related engineering, technical, operational, or project management experience in the energy industry as well as progressive managerial experience.
Proven leader of engineering and technical teams, with experience in utility, pipeline, facilities, automation, operations, integrity, or related industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, regulations, and industry practices, combined with sound business insight and critical thinking.
Ability to travel and work on projects throughout Canada and United States, with potential for overseas travel.
Valid passport is required.
Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.

Ranges from $143,000 - $193,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
