About the role

Responsibilities

  • When external partners are unavailable, deliver core topics directly to maintain consistency and resident engagement.
  • Develop & maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
  • Plan & facilitate community-building events that foster safe and meaningful relationships between community members.
  • Provide residents with information & referrals to access community resources and services, specifically connecting residents with nonprofit partners who deliver services within our four pillars framework.
  • Support food distribution needs in the community, including maintaining food bank partnerships and distribution management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the property management team, scheduling regular communication sessions.
  • Recruit, select, train, and oversee volunteers and interns who support programming at the Resource Center.
  • The opportunity The Resident Services Coordinator designs and implements programs that enhance community life for residents of all ages.
  • Residents are assisted in obtaining the services they need to maintain independence and the highest possible quality of life.
  • The seniors are responsible for their own housing, meals, housekeeping, laundry, and personal care.

Requirements

  • ability to work occasional Saturday for an event.

Skills

  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
  • Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds, which includes large boxes of food for a supplemental food distribution program.
