Responsibilities
- Reports all problems and emergencies to immediate supervisor, and documents security incidents with a written report and daily activity logs.
- Screens all individuals entering the facilities to ensure that they have a business purpose to be in the building.

- The position requires sound judgment, calm decision-making, and the ability to partner closely with clinical teams to support safe patient care.
Requirements
- Checks ID badges, and ensures that all visitors, employees, and contractors wear badges as required.
Skills
- Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including email & calendar (Outlook) (Required proficiency)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (Required proficiency)
- Strong conflict resolution skills (Required proficiency)
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly where individuals may be exhibiting negative or threatening behavior (Required proficiency)
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and/or be insured on a CHOP policy required (Required proficiency)
- Ability to work all shift times, and rotate between shifts as needed required (Required proficiency)
- Ability to wear a respirator device required (Required proficiency)
- Experience with de-escalation techniques (Required proficiency)
- Experience in environments with vulnerable populations (patients, families, behavioral health) (Required proficiency)
- Driver's License
- Department of Motor Vehicles - upon hire

Compensation
- $21.05 - $26.35 Hourly
- Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs.
- If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
