About the role

  • Essential Functions: Act as the main contact for the project at the jobsite.
  • Oversee the project to make all critical field decisions.
  • Oversee the project to ensure proper project decisions.

Responsibilities

  • To build up our communities, our clients and each other by building trust in everything we do.
  • Promotes the company mission statement by joining the Project Manager as a team who work together to create a safe work environment, build a quality project and keep projects on schedule while earning a fair and reasonable profit.
  • Develop and implement working relationship with Safety Manager.
  • Coordinate with Safety Manager to develop a project-site specific SOAR orientation document.
  • SOAR implementation - if allowing other Harper staff to conduct orientations ensure proper message and execution of the document.
  • Perform weekly Toolbox Talks with all active trades.
  • Develop and manage (takes the lead) on project QAQC.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with Owner and Architect/Engineer relating to field issues.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 10 years of jobsite supervision experience.
  • Includes 5 plus years as a Superintendent.

Skills

  • Coordinate a 3D design for conflicts.
  • Coordinate a 3D design layout in the field.
  • Utilize BIM Glue and Navisworks software when appropriate to assist in the BIM process on a project.
  • Proven track record of a strong safety culture on the jobsite - is a leader in safety.
  • Understand construction means and methods for all scopes of work.
  • Demonstrate a thorough and detailed understanding of:
  • General conditions.
