About the role
- Interpret test results and troubleshoot routine laboratory and process-related issues.
- Conduct procedures using manual and automated laboratory methods and equipment.
- Ensure laboratory workspaces, equipment, and materials are maintained in a clean, organized, and compliant state.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory procedures, analytical testing, and production support activities in accordance with SOPs, cGMP requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of laboratory and production equipment.
- Accurately document test results, procedures, observations, and production data in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, SOPs, and documentation requirements.
- Basic computer proficiency and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work independently on routine assignments while contributing effectively as a team member.
- Maintain bacterial clones and associated biological materials required for manufacturing operations.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, summaries, protocols, and technical documentation as required.

- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and biological materials handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Experience with pipets and DNA is preferred
- Coursework in biotechnology, microbiology, biology, chemistry, laboratory sciences, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred.
- Laboratory, manufacturing, biotechnology, or regulated industry experience is a plus.
Compensation
- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $20.77 - $32.45/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
