About the role
- Counsel is responsible for providing expert and strategic legal advice to the company's executive team and management on a wide range of legal matters.
- This role involves managing all legal issues within the organization, including acting as the company's legal representative in litigation and other legal proceedings.
- Conduct monthly reviews of settlements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an assigned caseload, ensuring timely handling of all matters, proper documentation, and adherence to internal and court-imposed deadlines.
- Maintain organized case files and records in accordance with firm or organizational policies.
- Perform legal research and stay current on relevant Delaware laws, regulations, and case law.
Requirements
- (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must have a JD degree from an accredited law school12.
