- Board Certifications: SC Radiation Quality Standards Association License with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)
Responsibilities
- Maintains radiation monitors and proper registration of radiology equipment.
- Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment.
- LOA providers are proud of what they do, devoting their time and care to building relationships and fostering healing in their patients.
Requirements
- Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently
- Minimum of one (1) years' experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Knowledge of Nuclear medicine procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology
- Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment in accordance with required calibration schedule.
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-Ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Skill in positioning patients properly
- Skill in preparing and administering contrast materials
- Skill in identifying and correcting equipment problems
