Requirements
- Position and instruct patient while utilizing protective shielding, immobilization, and supportive devices as required.
- Perform and complete procedures as required based on physician's order, and a variety of diagnostic procedures (x-ray)
- Associate's Degree under the completion of a Radiologic Technology program Required or
- Certificate under the completion of CT technology certification program Required
- Minimum one (1) year Radiologic Technology experience Required
- Computed Tomography - American Registry Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible (if eligible, CT certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire/transfer date) Required
- Computed Tomography - South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Required
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association Required
Nice to have
- Minimum one (1) year CT experience Preferred
Skills
- Understand and utilize ALARA concepts and critical thinking
- Time management
- Effective communication
- Proficiency in IV access for contrast media administration
- Computed Tomography
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Required
- Basic Life Support Certified
- American Heart Association Required
