About the role
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2pm to 1030pm, with flex to night shift as needed (10p to 630a).
- Works independently and communicates effectively with other healthcare professionals.

- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Education/Experience:
- Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing. Bachelor's degree required in medical technology or related science field from an accredited institution
- or, must meet CLIA grandfathered medical technologist regulations.
- Language Ability:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Math Ability:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

- Word processing, Spreadsheets, E-mail, Laboratory Information Systems.
- Certificates and Licenses:
- Certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc).
- Certifications may be required in specialized areas of the laboratory.
