About the role
- Sony Pictures Imageworks is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
- Able to light multiple types of scenes from simple to moderately difficult.
- Ensures that assigned shots fit the continuity of the sequence.
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements lighting of characters and environments for assigned shots that meet and enhance the given art direction for a production.
- Develops solutions and techniques that meet art/technical direction.
Requirements
- Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
- Compositing experience required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, UNIX and scripting ability in relevant languages.
- Knowledge of Arnold shading, volume rendering and raytracing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant compositing software including Nuke is preferred.
- of 3+ years production experience or feature film experience preferred.
Compensation
- The anticipated base salary for an Senior position is $45.07 to $60.58/hr.
