About the role
- This position assists with day-to-day scheduling, materials coordination, data tracking, and system transactions to help ensure manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, or monitor production and work order schedules in the ERP system.
- Support accurate and timely work order completion and closure in the ERP system.
- Help maintain accurate bills of materials and material assignments to work orders.
- Support production, materials, and leadership teams regarding plant priorities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills throughout the shift
- Experience & Education/Training
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, or data-related roles preferred
- Exposure to ERP systems (JD Edwards/IFS preferred)
