About the role
- Serve as a direct resource for parents/caregivers of children under 6 with social-emotional or developmental concerns
- Provide warm referrals and follow-up for families needing early childhood mental health services
- Generate monthly reports on referrals, outcomes, and barriers to care
Responsibilities
- Family Support & Care Coordination
- Support parents identified through ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE2 screenings, especially those with low protective factors
- Support in-person and virtual parent-child groups
- Document timely and accurate case notes and contribute to continuous quality improvement (CQI)
- Coaching & Team Support
Requirements
- 18 years of age or job permit clearance
- Ability to sit/stand and keyboard as needed
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with families and children birth through five
- Knowledge of ACEs, Protective Factors Framework, or trauma-informed practices
Nice to have
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or other high-frequency languages in San Mateo County such as Portuguese, Mandarin, or Cantonese)
Compensation
- Compensation: $29-$34/hr
