About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing CPA firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax expertise and experience preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and other pass-through entities.

Manage multiple client engagements while meeting filing deadlines.
Maintain accurate workpapers and documentation in accordance with firm standards.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.
CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification.
Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax, Axcess Tax, or other CCH software preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.

Prepare Schedule K-1s and analyze pass-through entity tax issues.
Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax questions.
Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and tax projections.
Review client financial statements and supporting documentation for tax compliance.
