About the role

  • Job Description: Ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets at assigned location.
  • Responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring for potential threats, responding to emergencies, and enforcing rules and regulations.
  • Work Environment: - Ability to lift up to 50lbs. - Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods. - Requires working in seasonal hot and cold temperatures and exposure to dust and chemical fumes.

Responsibilities

  • Uses de-escalation techniques to defuse tense situations and maintain a safe environment.
  • Documents incidents, suspicious activities, and other relevant information in detailed reports.
  • Maintains and ensures the proper functioning of security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of previous experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong multi-taking capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
