About the role
- Work closely with more senior underwriters in the preparation of credit committee reports with cash flow, risks and strengths, borrower / sponsor, and market analysis
- Review third party reports, property leases, and financial statements as part of the due diligence process
- Assist with loan closings and procure needed closing items
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support in the screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting and closing of commercial real estate loans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 7+ years' experience in CMBS loan underwriting or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®, and Argus®.
- Prior Excel® financial modelling experience required
- A demonstrable ability to work effectively with team members in diverse groups and regions
- At any time, employees may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and participate in additional trainings.
