Requirements

  • The ability to utilize chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • A clear focus on safety, including participation in safety programs, training, and the ability to identify and report near-miss incidents.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment, with an understanding of the fundamentals of physical chemistry.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment, often setting priorities and completing work activities with minimal supervision.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to respirator.
  • Skills - Specific abilities and expertise required to perform tasks effectively in this role (must haves)
  • Chemical Manufacturing Knowledge: The ability to utilize chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Safety Awareness: A clear focus on safety, including participation in safety programs, training, and the ability to identify and report near-miss incidents.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively in a team environment, often setting priorities and completing work activities with minimal supervision.
  • Computer Proficiency: The ability to use computers to perform job tasks, including operating automated manufacturing equipment.

Nice to have

  • An expanded list of qualifications that are "nice to have", but not essential
  • An Associate degree of Applied Science in Process Technology degree or science related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
  • Industrial work experience in chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience operating Forklift, or other powered equipment.
  • Physical dexterity and strength.
  • Lift, push, and pull.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Skills

  • Strong skills in identifying and resolving issues with technical equipment and processes.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment, with an understanding of the fundamentals of physical chemistry.
