About the role

  • Mariana Minerals is looking for a highly motivated Project Engineering Manager to work on building the critical minerals supply chain to support the world's energy transition.
  • In this role, you will manage design, tasks, and the flow of information across internal and external engineering teams for your assigned project(s).
  • You will develop and maintain project workflows, lead project-specific design activities, support document control processes, managing engineering deliverables, coordinate cross-discipline reviews, manage approvals, and provide progress updates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering activities across internal engineering teams, external engineering partners, and vendors
  • Take a hands-on approach in developing project-level designs and associated documentation.
  • Manage review/approval workflows for engineering documents, vendor submittals, and project deliverables
  • Lead technical interface management, resolving gaps and issues between disciplines, vendors, and EPC partners
  • Organize and lead model reviews, design reviews, and coordination meetings, capturing action items and ensuring follow-through
  • Assist in building and improving digital project-execution tools, contributing feedback to help automate workflows and enhance project visibility
  • 7-15+ years of relevant experience in project engineering, project management, EPC/EPCM environments, or industrial project support roles
  • Familiarity with EPC project workflows, including document control, design reviews, RFI management, vendor coordination, and multidisciplinary engineering processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to interface across disciplines and follow up effectively with teammates and external partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • Proficiency in project-engineering and project-management activities and tools, such as project planning, document-management, and risk management
