Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely processing of financial transactions within the assigned function, including but not limited to commissions, client refunds, invoicing, collections, or account reconciliations, in accordance with established procedures and internal controls
- Maintain consistent service delivery in line with defined SLAs and communicate proactively when deadlines or volumes are at risk
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in finance operations or accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in one or more functions of the accounting workflow (AP, AR, reconciliations, commissions, or equivalent)
- Experience in the travel industry is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-directed and accountable, with a track record of delivering quality work consistently and with minimal supervision
- Prepare and complete month-end reconciliations for the assigned function, ensuring all variances are identified, investigated, and resolved within required deadlines
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain, verify, and validate information required for accurate transaction processing and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information clearly and collaborate across teams
Compensation
- The actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
- $45,000 to $55,000.
