About the role

The Market Manager is responsible for the overall success of 8Fleet's operations within their market.

Own all day-to-day operations within the market and ensure shifts run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Lead, coach, and develop the site's Operations Coordinators, Fleet Supervisors, and other frontline operational staff.
Ensure vehicles, drivers, and operational resources are prepared each day to support successful shift execution.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve the driver experience.
Maintain high operational standards through regular audits, inspections, and process reviews.
Own the performance of the market's driver population.
Develop performance improvement plans for underperforming drivers while recognizing and developing top performers.
Develop frontline leaders and build a strong pipeline for future operational leadership roles.
Partner with Recruiting and HR to support hiring, onboarding, and employee retention.
Monitor driver safety performance and lead coaching following safety events or incidents.
