About the role
- Job Title: NPI Materials Planning Intern
- Reports To: Senior NPI Materials Program Manager
Responsibilities
- Help maintain accurate item, supplier, and lead-time data in the ERP/MRP system so planning outputs can be trusted.
- Build simple reports and dashboards (shortage lists, open-PO status, plan vs. actuals) that give the team a clear daily picture.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change; able to re-prioritize as the build plan shifts.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with supplier strategy, materials planning, and logistics in a high-growth startup environment
Nice to have
- Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in supply chain, industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations, business analytics, or a related field.
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Sheets) and comfort working with data
- Highly organized and detail-oriented - you notice when numbers don't reconcile and chase down why.
- Clear communicator who can coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production without dropping threads.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change
