About the role

When a deal closes, Tabs reads the actual contract - not a CPQ summary, not a form - and extracts every financial term: recurring fees, discounts, usage-based components, minimums, renewal terms.
Real contracts are messy, heavily negotiated, and rarely standard, and handling them well is what sets Tabs apart.
You'll define the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for contract extraction, processing, and the full contract lifecycle - from initial processing through amendments, renewals, and termination.

Conduct user research and competitive analysis to drive what we build - you'll set direction for this domain, not just execute against it
Those extracted terms become the structured financial data that drive invoicing and revenue recognition for the life of the contract.
You'll own pushing that capability further.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI, data quality, and systems design, with real autonomy to decide what we build next.
We work smart. Get in front of the customer, use both data and customer feedback to drive decisions, while keeping the bigger picture in the back of our minds.
Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for how Tabs turns unstructured contracts into accurate, structured billing and revenue models
Define how contracts move through their lifecycle - processing, finalization, amendment, renewal, and termination - and build the workflows that make each step faster and more automated

5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, B2B SaaS, or AI/data products
Experience owning a core product or workflow that the rest of the business depends on
Comfortable working with LLMs and AI - you have informed opinions on accuracy, evaluation, and when to trust model output
Strong systems thinking with the ability to reason about how data models and workflows interact across a platform
Exceptional cross-functional operator - you can align and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across a product with deep upstream and downstream dependencies
Thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly
Familiarity with billing, revenue recognition, or the contract-to-cash lifecycle - or a demonstrated ability to go deep in a complex financial domain quickly
