Responsibilities

  • Now you're looking for a role where your craftsmanship helps create spaces that truly feel like home.
  • On any given day, you might prepare and paint resident apartments for new move-ins, refresh common areas, complete touch-ups throughout the community, or collaborate with maintenance teams on larger projects.
  • In this role, you'll manage painting projects throughout the campus, ensuring high-quality results, timely completion of work orders, and attention to detail in every space.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, and finishing work
  • Perform scheduled painting and wallcovering in apartments and common areas
  • Prepare and restore surfaces in vacant units to support move-in readiness
  • Maintain common areas with routine painting, touch-ups, and repairs
  • Use the work order system to manage and complete assigned tasks
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas with minimal disruption to residents
  • Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional support

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, and surface preparation
  • Ability to use power tools and painting equipment
  • Proven experience in residential or commercial painting
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between assigned communities
  • Ability to read and speak English

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of painting or general maintenance experience preferred

Compensation

  • $18.50-$24.00 per hour (final rate determined based on skills and experience).
