About the role
- OakNorth is looking for a driven and ambitious In-House Legal Transaction Execution Associate Director to join our US Team as we take our lending business across the Atlantic.

Responsibilities
- Instruct and manage external counsel on the drafting of finance documents to accurately reflect Credit approvals on all US transactions.
- Manage a number of transactions simultaneously and facilitate all conditions precedent to be satisfied taking a risk-based approach.
- Manage paralegals and juniors to facilitate the execution of transactions simultaneously.
- Manage internal stakeholders to align with business targets.
Requirements
- Attorney or loan closing experience with 5+ years of experience closing C&I transactions, with a strong focus on sponsor finance and cash flow lending in the lower middle to true middle market.
- Ability to work outside of comfort zone and develop new areas of proficiency.
Compensation
- Salary - $200k - $250k based on experience

Visa & Work Authorization
- The successful candidate will have significant experience working on sponsor finance and cash flow lending transactions in the lower middle and middle markets while also having broader C&I lending experience.
