About the role

- Reporting to the VP, Global Quality, you will work at the intersection of engineering innovation and customer success, driving quality excellence from new technology development through global deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product quality strategies aligned with business objectives in alignment with business units.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead Quality engagement throughout the NPI lifecycle.
- Ensure Design for Quality and Reliability principles are incorporated into new product development.
- Support design reviews, qualification activities, and product release readiness assessments.
- Develop reliability verification and validation strategies.
- Lead reliability growth and improvement activities.
- Develop and maintain reliability apportionment models to support system reliability targets.
- Analyze field reliability data and drive corrective actions to improve product robustness.
- Own Top-X customer quality issues and Tier 1 escalations for assigned product lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Reliability, or related technical discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in Quality, Reliability, Engineering, or Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment systems and reliability engineering principles.

- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Lifecycle Management.
- Experience leading customer quality escalations and complex cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
Nice to have
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all product quality matters for assigned product lines
- Coach and mentor teams for root cause investigations on issues leveraging failure analysis and best practices, e.g. 5 Why's, fishbone diagram etc.
- Monitor and report product quality performance through established KPIs and scorecards.
- Define, communicate, and execute Quality Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) within product development programs.
- Establish product quality requirements and acceptance criteria during development.
- Serve as the Quality Owner within the Product Lifecycle Control (PLC) process.
