About the role
- The ISO Transportation Manager is responsible for all transportation related activities of an ISO Depot, including promoting business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise Driver Managers including ensuring accurate and efficient dispatching and load planning.
- Monitor and train staff for consistent and efficient processes including proper dispatching.
Responsibilities
- Manage dispatch to identify resource needs and training and development needs are met
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proven focus on continuous improvement in the workplace
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced organization
- Proven problem solver, anticipates challenges and is both responsive and resourceful
- Must be able to work weekends and Holidays as needed
- Be on call as required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years relevant e xperience
- Proven ability to motivate, develop, and mentor staff in order to optimize their performance
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring needs and deadlines are met in a timely fashion
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude
Skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Solid communication skills and attention to detail
